Houston Texans DFS Spin
Davis Mills completed 17-of-29 passes for 152 yards and an interception in the Texans’ 17-10, Week 8 loss to the Titans. Mills was sitting at 64 passing yards without a score until Houston’s final drive of the game. Though the game wasn’t technically decided, the last gasp from Houston had the appearance of garbage time. Mills drove down the field with a few long throws to Brandin Cooks before finding Dameon Pierce open at the goal line. It was an otherwise dreadful day from the second-year quarterback. Facing the Eagles in Week 9, Mills will be hard to start even in Superflex leagues.
New York Giants DFS Spin
Daniel Jones completed 19-of-30 passes for 202 yards and one touchdown in the Giants’ 23-17, Week 7 win over the Jaguars. He also rushed 11 times for 107 yards and a touchdown. Jones does it again, he finds a way. Playing within the confines of the offense, Jones was able to put together a nice day. Jones was effective when given time to make routine throws. His best throw of the day came on a deep touchdown to Darius Slayton on the Giants’ first drive. If Jones could have games like these every week he’d be a fantasy starter, but can we trust that?
