Falcons vs. Saints Free Pick
The 5-0 Atlanta Falcons will look to keep their unbeaten record intact when they visit their biggest rival, the New Orleans Saints, tonight at 8:25PM ET.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Mybookie.ag, the Falcons opened as 3-point road favorites for tonight’s game but the line has been bumped up to 3.5. The total, meanwhile, is currently sitting at 51.5 points after opening at 51.
Atlanta enters play with a 5-0 record and is 4-1 against the spread, with its lone non-cover coming in a 25-19 overtime win over Washington last Sunday. As for New Orleans, the Saints are just 1-4 straight up and 2-3 at the betting window this season.
The Falcons beat New Orleans 30-14 last year on the road last year. The Saints are dysfunctional and about ready to come apart at the seams. They lost to Tampa Bay at home, 26-19.
Drew Brees is not the same quarterback due to injuries and age. The short turnaround won’t help. This is not the same Saints’ offense. They’ve scored over 26 points just once and that was in overtime.
Atlanta defends the run now and have improved thanks to head coach Dan Quinn.
