Titans vs. Browns Odds
The Tennessee Titans hope to get a surprising 2-0 start to the season on Sunday when they hit the road to face the Cleveland Browns at 1PM ET on CBS.
According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Tennessee is the slim favorite on the road, as the Titans are getting odds of -1 point against the Browns. The over/under total for the game has been set at 41.5 points. Cleveland has won four of the last six against the Titans and the two have hit the over in six of their last seven encounters.
Tennessee opened the season with an impressive 42-14 win at Tampa Bay last week. The Titans covered a 3-point spread and went over the 40.5-point total. Tennessee was clicking early, taking a 21-0 lead on the Bucs in the first quarter and never looking back. First-round draft pick Marcus Mariota went 13 of 16 passing for 209 yards with four touchdowns in his debut. Kendall Wright added four receptions for 101 yards and a touchdown while Derrick Morgan led the defense with five tackles and two sacks.
The Browns suffered a 31-10 loss at the Jets last week. The Browns were 3.5-point underdogs going in, but they did go over the total of 39 points. Cleveland was only outgained 333-321 by the Jets but the Browns had five turnovers and allowed three sacks. Josh McCown started the game at QB but suffered a concussion when diving for the end zone. That forced Johnny Manziel in the game and he had three turnovers and couldn’t get the offense going. McCown is listed as questionable for this game, which means Manziel could get the start. Cleveland was led by Travis Benjamin in the game, as he had three receptions for 89 yards with a touchdown.
