Tennessee Titans DFS Spin
Treylon Burks (knee) will not play in Week 5 against the Colts. Burks missed Week 4 with the knee issue and was not able to practice at all this week, so it’s no surprise that he was ruled out for Week 5. The Titans play the Ravens in Week 6 and then get their bye. It’s possible, if not likely, that the team chooses to hold Burks out for one more game to lengthen his recovery time. Fantasy managers in shallow leagues can cut Burks for someone off the wire given how long it could be until he retakes the field and the lackluster state of the Titans’ offense.
Indianapolis Colts DFS Spin
Colts HC Shane Steichen said, “We’ll see,” when asked about the possibility of Jonathan Taylor playing in Week 5 against the Titans. As expected, Taylor was listed as questionable on the Colts’ final injury report. There’s a good chance we won’t know about Taylor’s status until Sunday when the team announces its Week 5 inactives. Reportedly healthy and in shape, it would be surprising to see Taylor sidelined after a full week of practices. What wouldn’t be surprising is the team putting him on a snap/touch count as they look to ramp him up in the coming weeks. If he is active, Taylor’s return will come against a stout Titans defense that’s allowing the fourth-fewest rushing yards per game. We wouldn’t trust him as anything more than an RB2 if he suits up.

Titans vs. Colts Prediction:
Sorry for the cliché but…death, taxes and Titans over Colts. Tennessee has won five straight over Indianapolis, which is the Titans’ longest win streak in this series’ history. The Colts have also lost seven straight games at Lucas Oil Stadium, which is their longest losing streak since dropping eight consecutive home contests in 1991.
Taylor is eligible to return from the PUP list, but it sounds as if the Colts are undecided on whether or not he’ll play. What a mess. Even if he does suit up, Tennessee forces opponents to throw the ball by loading up against the run. As most games are involving the Titans, this one will be ugly but in the end, I see Tennessee coming through for backers.
