NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports A.J. Brown (knee) is expected to play in Week 9 against the Rams. Brown popped up as a DNP on Friday with a knee issue after not appearing on the injury report at all prior to the Titans’ final practice. With Brown expected to play and Julio Jones off the injury report entirely, expect Tennessee to opt for a more pass-heavy approach sans Derrick Henry. A matchup with the high-scoring Rams should also force them to take more shots through the air. Brown registers as a WR1 with Jones coming in as a risky WR3 due to his recent in-game injury history.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports Von Miller will test his ankle in pre-game warmups before determining whether or not he plays in Week 9 against the Titans. Schefter added that Jalen Ramsey and Robert Woods, both of whom were listed as questionable but expected to play, will indeed play. Miller logged a single limited practice this week which came on Thursday before he returned to a DNP status on Friday. If Miller is able to play, he’ll be in line to make a few splash plays in a high-octane affair with the Titans. Miller has 4.5 sacks on the year and Tennessee is allowing their opponents to find three sacks per game.
