Tennessee Titans DFS Spin
Titans WR Treylon Burks (knee) was removed from the injury report and will play in Week 1 against the Saints. Burks has been trending in the direction of playing all week. Since returning to practice early last week, Burks has been a full participant in all practices, and no longer carries an injury designation heading into the weekend. Burks will play opposite DeAndre Hopkins, and should find more room to roam with Hopkins drawing the attention of the coverage. Still, the Titans’ offense will have its hands full on the road in New Orleans, which could limit Burks’ fantasy upside. Burks has WR3/WR4 upside and will be hard to trust outside of deep leagues.
New Orleans Saints DFS Spin
Saints RB Kendre Miller (hamstring) did not practice Friday. Barring a miracle, Miller is on track to miss the season opener against the Titans. Miller injured his hamstring late last week and hasn’t practiced since then. Miller’s absence could lead to a busy day for Jamaal Williams, who was already expected to handle early-down work but now has a chance to work on third downs. Kirk Merritt, former receiver turned running back, could sprinkle in on occasional downs, and we also need to consider the possibility of Taysom Hill seeing significant work.

Titans vs. Saints Prediction:
Give me Tennessee. I don’t love the Titans roster top to bottom, but Mike Vrabel has a knack for getting the most out of his players and for having his team prepared week in and week out. Once again, the offense will run through Derrick Henry and while the secondary is a question mark for Tennessee, the Titans’ front seven should be able to clamp down on a New Orleans’ rushing attack that will be without suspended back Alvin Kamara. We’ll see how Derek Carr fares in his first game with the Saints. I think this one comes down to the wire and it’s a field goal game, either way.
