2013 Super Bowl Odds for Week 17
(The Spread) – Oddsmakers have updated the 2013 Super Bowl odds for Week 17 in the NFL and there’s a new team sitting on top.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Denver Broncos are now 4/1 favorites to win the 2013 Super Bowl, while the New England Patriots are 19/4. The Green Bay Packers are 6/1, the Atlanta Falcons are 13/2 and the Houston Texans are 7/1.
Last week the odds were different, as the 49ers were favored at 9/2, the Patriots were still 19/4 and the Broncos were 5/1. The Texans were 11/2, the Falcons were 7/1 and the Packers were 15/2. The Seattle Seahawks, meanwhile, were 16/1 but after they thumped the 49ers on Sunday Night Football, their odds went up to 8/1.
Continuing with the current odds, after the Seahawks at 8/1 the Baltimore Ravens are 20/1, the Washington Redskins are 22/1 and both the Cincinnati Bengals and Dallas Cowboys are 40/1, respectively. The Chicago Bears are 50/1, the Indianapolis Colts and Minnesota Vikings are both 60/1, respectively, and the New York Giants are the current long shots at 90/1.
The Broncos are currently on 10-game winning streak and could clinch the No. 1 seed in the AFC with a win over the Chiefs and a Texans loss to the Colts on Sunday. As for the Patriots, they still have an outside shot at one of the top 2 seeds in the AFC and the Packers can clinch the No. 2 seed in the NFC with a win over the Vikings on Sunday. The Falcons have already clinched the No. 1 seed in the NFC and will have home field advantage throughout the postseason.
