Updated NFL AFC Championship Odds: Chiefs Remain Favored

AFC Championship Odds AFC Championship Odds

Even after their victories in the NFL Wildcard round, neither the Ravens nor the Bills have the best odds to win the AFC Championship. Those odds still belong to the defending Super Bowl champion Chiefs. Read on for updated NFL AFC Championship Odds now that the Divisional round matchups are set.

AFC Championship Odds: The Favorite

The Chiefs earned the No. 1 seed in the conference and thus, a first-round bye. That meant they got to sit and rest while the Ravens, Bills and Texans had to fight their way into the Divisional round. Oddsmakers from Fanduel Sportsbook currently make Kansas City +130 moneyline favorites to win the conference again this season. If the Chiefs accomplish the feat, it’ll be the third time they did so in as many years.

AFC Championship Odds: Ravens, not Bills have next-best odds

The Ravens are +230 to win the AFC title this season, which gives Baltimore better odds than the Bills at +240. The Ravens and Bills will meet in the final Divisional round game of the upcoming weekend. Despite not having the better conference title odds, Buffalo is still favored by a point this Sunday evening versus Baltimore. These two teams met at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore in Week 4 and the Ravens boat-raced the Bills, 35-10. The Ravens were 2.5-point favorites in that game.

AFC Championship Odds: The Long Shot

Naturally, if the Chiefs are favored to win the conference, their opponent in the Divisional round would most likely be the long shot to win the AFC crown. That’s true in the case of the Texans, who are +1700 to win the AFC title this season. Despite upsetting the Chargers in the Wildcard round, the Texans are 8-point underdogs at Arrowhead Stadium this Saturday. That game will also be a rematch from the regular season, as the two teams met in Week 16. The Chiefs won that game 27-19 and covered as a 3.5-point favorite.

The late game on Saturday will be held at 8:00 p.m. ET in Detroit, where the Lions will host the Commanders. Detroit, the NFC’s No. 1 seed, is currently an 8.5-point home favorite versus Washington. The total for that game sits at a whopping 55.5.

On Sunday, the Bills will host the Ravens at 6:30 p.m. ET on CBS. The total for that game sits at 51.5 after opening at 52.5. As of this writing, the Vikings have yet to play the Rams in the final Wildcard matchup and thus, we don’t know which team will be traveling to Philadelphia to play the Eagles on Sunday afternoon.
