Minnesota Vikings DFS Spin
Minnesota backup safety Lewis Cine will miss this weekend’s game with a hamstring injury. Cine is the backup to Vikings’ strong safety Harrison Smith. The Vikings’ starting center Garrett Bradbury holds a questionable designation as he deals with a back injury. Bradbury has been out since he got injured in Minnesota’s Week 1 contest, but he practiced all week and looks likely to play on Sunday.
Minnesota outside linebacker Marcus Davenport is also questionable as he is hampered by an ankle injury. There were reports that Davenport practiced fully on Friday so he has a good shot at playing on Sunday. Davenport had 9 sacks and 3 forced fumbles as a member of the Saints in 2021.
Carolina Panthers DFS Spin
Panthers quarterback Bryce Young missed the team’s last game with an ankle injury, but he logged his third straight day as a full practice participant on Friday and holds no injury designation on the final injury report. He’ll be good to go against Minnesota on Sunday.
Carolina safety Xavier Woods won’t be able to play this weekend as he’s hampered by a hamstring injury. Woods has 11 total tackles and 2 passes defended in 3 games this season.
Carolina wide receiver Jonathan Mingo (concussion) and running back Miles Sanders (groin) are both listed as questionable on the injury report. Panthers starting inside linebacker Frankie Luvu is also questionable with a hip injury.

The over is 7-3 in Minnesota’s last 10 games.
Vikings vs. Panthers Prediction:
This is the Adam Thielen revenge game. Thielen played for Minnesota for 9 seasons before the Vikings elected to release him this past offseason due to his $20 million cap hit. He’s been playing well for his new team in Carolina as he leads the club in targets (25), receptions (20), receiving yards (211), and receiving touchdowns (2). He should be primed for a big game and the Panthers should be locked in as they try to earn their first win at home on Sunday.
Most people thought that the Vikings would regress, but not many thought it would happen this quickly. After going 11-0 in one-score games last regular season, the Vikings are already 0-3 in one-score games this year. The defense has been the problem as that unit ranks 25th in opponent yards per play and 22nd in opponent points per play. The Vikings should be able to put up points in this game, I’m just not sure how they’re going to get enough stops. I’ll fade the public and take the Panthers and the points at home on Sunday.
