Vikings vs. Redskins Week 16 Odds
WASHINGTON, D.C. (The Spread) – Pride will be on the line this Saturday in Washington when the Redskins host the Vikings at 1:00PM ET.
MINNESOTA: The Vikings proved to be no match for the high-powered Saints last Sunday at the Metrodome. New Orleans crushed Minnesota 42-20 behind Drew Brees’ five touchdown passes and 412 yards. Brees completed 32-of-40 passes against Minnesota’s beleaguered secondary, which will probably need an overhaul in the offseason. Rookie quarterback Christian Ponder did throw two touchdown passes in the loss but he was just 14-of-31 for 120 yards with an interception. The loss dropped the Vikings’ record to 2-12 and they’ve now lost six in a row.
WASHINGTON: If it weren’t for Kansas City’s shocking win over Green Bay, Washington would have pulled off the biggest upset of Week 15. Behind an opportunistic defense, the Redskins knocked off the Giants 23-10 in East Rutherford as Eli Manning threw three interceptions and no touchdowns. The win was only Washington’s second in four games but the Redskins have been more competitive since Rex Grossman took over under center. The victory improved the Skins’ record to 5-9 and their ATS record to 7-7.

They’re also 5-13 ATS in their last 18 December games and 1-4-1 ATS in their last six games following a straight up loss of more than 14 points. The Redskins are 4-1-1 ATS in their last six games in December but 2-8-1 ATS in their last 11 games as a favorite.
