Week 14 NFL Survivor Pool Picks 12/5/17

NFL Week 14 Survivor Pool Picks

Your options are dwindling but you can taste victory in your NFL survivor pool. Here are three options for Week 14 if you’re looking for help.

How we did last week: It was a perfect 3-0 week for us as we had the Chargers over the Browns, the Raiders over the Giants, and the Titans over the Texans. All three games were relatively close, although we didn’t have to truly sweat out any victories. As always, we’ll try to throw in some not-so-obvious choices because we know your options are limited.

1. Cincinnati Bengals

According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Bengals are a 7-point home favorite to beat the Bears on Sunday. Cincinnati is the second-largest favorite on the board next week to the Patriots and if you haven’t used New England, by all means, burn them against the Dolphins on Monday night. The Bengals have played better of late and still have a shot to earn a wild card berth in the hapless AFC. Chicago has been competitive, but mostly at home this season. The Bears are just 1-4 on the road and the Bengals should get it done on Sunday.

2. Los Angeles Chargers

If you burned the Chargers a week ago we apologize for including them here again. But if you haven’t, they’re a solid option at home as a 6.5-point favorite versus the banged-up Redskins. Washington is down several offensive linemen and might shut down tight end Jordan Reed for the rest of the season. At 5-7, the Redskins are deflated after losing last week to NFC East rival the Cowboys and are now traveling for a second straight week. The Chargers, meanwhile, are red-hot and have a legitimate opportunity to win the AFC West. Take them if you haven’t already. Public bettors are likely to be all over the Bolts come Sunday.

3. New York Jets

Again, we’re trying to give you some options that you haven’t used already. The Jets are a risk since they’re 5-7 and playing on the road, but the Broncos are an utter mess. They’ve lost eight in a row and haven’t been competitive in most of those games. It’s not like the Jets aren’t playing well either. They’ve out-gained each of their last four opponents and have played hard every week. New York is currently a 1.5-point road favorite to beat Denver.
