Rodgers ready for Vikings?
Aaron Rodgers hasn’t had his best season in 2015, but he can still lead the Green Bay Packers to a division title when they face the Minnesota Vikings tonight.
According to oddsmakers at RealBets, Green Bay is a slight favorite tonight, as the Packers are getting odds of -3 points against the Vikings. The over/under total for the game has been set at 43.5 points. These two meet tonight at 8:30PM ET on NBC.
Rodgers has thrown for just 3,530 yards this season, one of his lowest totals in some time for being able to play all season. He also has 30 touchdown passes with seven interceptions, but completed just 60.4 percent of his passes, his lowest total as a starting QB. He leads the Packers (10-5, 9-6 ATS) tonight against the Vikings (10-5, 12-3 ATS) with the winner getting the NFC North title.
These two met back on Nov. 22 in Minnesota, with the Packers getting a 30-13 win. Rodgers was 16 of 34 passing for 212 yards with two touchdowns in the win. For tonight’s game, Rodgers has been given an over/under of 250.5 passing yards and 2 touchdowns in this game. The Vikings have the ninth-ranked pass defense in the NFL, allowing just 232.5 yards per game through the air. In seven home games, Rodgers is averaging 261.6 yards per game and he has 16 touchdowns in those games. In total, Rodger has hit 251 yards or more in six games, but he has failed to do that in five of his last six. He has multiple TD passes in 10 games this year.
