According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, the latest odds for the game has the Carolina Panthers as a 4.5-point favorite against the Broncos tonight. The over/under total is currently listed at 44 points. These two meet tonight at 6:30PM ET on CBS.

Thomas and Sanders have combined for 181 receptions and 2,439 receiving yards this season with 12 total touchdowns. Thomas has been the leader of the two with 105 catches for 1,304 yards while Sanders has 76 catches for 1,135 yards. Oddsmakers have listed the two receivers with the same over/unders, as each has an over/under of 5.5 receptions and 69.5 receiving yards.

This postseason hasn’t been anything special for Thomas, who has just 6 receptions for 52 yards and no scores, but clearly he is a big target for Peyton Manning. With nothing to hold back, Denver will likely take some shots downfield with Thomas, who is tough to cover at 6-3, 229 pounds. He has had at least 70 yards in eight games this season and also has had at least 6 receptions in nine games. The Panthers are just the 11th-ranked pass defense, so opportunities should be there for Thomas to make plays.

Sanders is a quick receiver that can play possession football or go for deep balls as well. Sanders has been the primary receiver in the postseason as he has 10 catches for 147 yards, getting 85 yards against Pittsburgh and 62 against New England. He had had at least 70 yards in nine games this season with 6 or more receptions in seven. Given Manning’s arm strength concern, Sanders could be a quick-target option to make the pass game impactful tonight. They also could use him in short-yardage passing to try and lull Carolina to sleep before sending him deep.
