Will the Browns’ Johnny Manziel find a way to move on the Chiefs’ defense?

Johnny Football to appear today?

Johnny Manziel is still looking to prove he’s the man for the Cleveland Browns. Can he have an impressive performance against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday?

View NFL Odds

According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, the Chiefs are the clear favorite at home today, as they are getting odds of -11 points against the Browns. The over/under total for the game has been set at 42.5 points. These two meet today at 1PM ET on CBS.

Manziel has had an interesting season, putting himself out of favor with the team but still finding a way to be a starter over these final few games. After leading Cleveland (3-11, 5-9 ATS) to a 24-10 win over San Francisco two weeks ago, Manziel was just 19 of 32 passing for 161 yards and one touchdown and one interception last week in a 30-13 loss to the Seattle Seahawks. For the season, Manziel has thrown for 1,364 yards and seven touchdowns with four interceptions while rushing for 122 yards.

Today, Manziel faces the Chiefs (9-5, 8-6 ATS), who are the hottest team in the AFC, winning eight straight coming into today. KC is allowing the seventh-fewest fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks this season, as they have 20 interceptions this year despite allowing 24 touchdown passes. Oddsmakers have listed Manziel with an over/under of 250.5 passing yards and 23.5 rushing yards against the Chiefs. Manziel has had one 300-yard game this season, throwing for 372 yards in a 30-9 loss to the Steelers back on Nov. 15, but he has been under 200 passing yards in four of his six games with at least 20 pass attempts. He also has had just one game with multiple TD-passes. When it comes to his legs, he has had just two with over 20 rushing yards, which was 31 in a loss to the Bengals and 35 against the Jets on the road.
