Carroll starts for Eagles; Giants have 4 halfbacks

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) – Nolan Carroll II is starting at cornerback for the Philadelphia Eagles in their season-ending game against the New York Giants.
Carroll replaces Bradley Fletcher, who has an injured hip. This is the only significant change for the Eagles for Sunday’s game at MetLife Stadium.
Giants running backs Andre Williams and Rashad Jennings are active for the game despite being limited in practice because of shoulder and ankle injuries.
Spencer Paysinger is starting at strongside linebacker for the Giants, with rookie Devon Kennard sidelined with a toe injury.
The biggest surprise is receiver Corey Washington, who is not activated. The Giants are going with four halfbacks, adding Orleans Darkwa and Chris Ogbonnaya to the active list.
