FLINT, Mich. (AP) -An attorney representing former New York Giants receiver Mark Ingram said he had nothing to do with breaking into a garage and stealing a purse.
Lynette Ward said Ingram doesn’t know the victims of the break-in and theft that was reported last December and happened in Grand Blanc Township.
“Since his past troubles he has worked hard to restart (his life),” Ward said. “This was really disappointing to him.”
The 41-year-old Ingram was arraigned Thursday and released on personal bond, the Flint Journal reported Saturday. He’s charged with a felony count of breaking and entering of a building and a misdemeanor larceny charge.
Ingram played at Michigan State.
