According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the Bruins are the slim favorite on the road, as they are getting odds of -115 to win, while the Red Wings have a money line of -105 to prevail. The over/under total for the game has been set at 5 goals. Detroit is 1-1 on the season and 1-1 at home while Boston is 1-3 overall and 0-1 on the road. Detroit already owns a 2-1 win over Boston this season, but the Bruins have won four of their last five against the Wings dating back to last year’s playoffs. The two have scored five goals or less in six of their last seven encounters.

Another featured game today has the Chicago Blackhawks hosting the Calgary Flames at 8PM ET. Oddsmakers have the Blackhawks clearly favored, as they are getting odds of -245 to win, while the Flames are getting odds of +205 to prevail. The over/under total for the game has been set at 5.5 goals. Chicago is 2-0 overall and 1-0 at home while Calgary is 2-2 overall and 2-1 on the road. Calgary has won two of its last three against Chicago and the two have hit the under in six of their last seven meetings.

Arizona has won five of its last six meetings with Edmonton coming into this game and the two have hit the over in four of their last five encounters.
