The featured game of the day has the Detroit Red Wings hosting the Boston Bruins at 8PM ET. Detroit already owns a 2-1 win over Boston this season, but the Bruins have won four of their last five against the Wings dating back to last year’s playoffs. Another featured game today has the Chicago Blackhawks hosting the Calgary Flames at 8PM ET. Oddsmakers have the Blackhawks clearly favored, as they are getting odds of -245 to win, while the Flames are getting odds of +205 to prevail. The over/under total for the game has been set at 5.5 goals. Chicago is 2-0 overall and 1-0 at home while Calgary is 2-2 overall and 2-1 on the road. Calgary has won two of its last three against Chicago and the two have hit the under in six of their last seven meetings.
The final game of the day has the Arizona Coyotes hosting the Edmonton Oilers at 10:30PM ET. Oddsmakers have yet to set odds for this match as of yet. Arizona is 1-1 on the season and 1-1 at home while Edmonton is 0-1-1 overall and 0-0-1 on the road. Arizona has won five of its last six meetings with Edmonton coming into this game and the two have hit the over in four of their last five encounters.
