Avalanche vs. Blues Game 6 Prediction
The Avalanche blew an opportunity to advance to the Conference Finals when they coughed up several leads in Game 5 on Thursday night. Will Colorado wrap things up tonight in St. Louis or will the underdog Blues force a Game 7 with a victory at 8:00 p.m. ET?

Colorado Avalanche DFS Spin
The Colorado blew 3-0 and 4-3 leads en route to a 5-4 overtime loss to St. Louis in Game 5 on Wednesday. The Avalanche nearly advanced to the Western Conference Final, but they couldn’t quite pull it off. “They played with more desperation than us in the second half of the game,” Avalanche coach Jared Bednar said. “We stopped playing. They’re a desperate team, facing elimination. … We had a pretty good first half of the game and built a nice lead and we’re doing everything right. And to me, it just kind of disappeared.” The silver lining for Colorado is that the Avalanche are still up 3-2 in the series. They’ll have another chance to close things out on Friday.
St. Louis Blues DFS Spin
Torey Krug (lower body) is not expected to be an option for the rest of St. Louis’ second-round series against Colorado. Krug won’t be available to return on Friday for Game 6 and he isn’t expected to return for Game 7 either should the series be extended. He has been making some progress in his recovery, but he still isn’t an option to return for the Blues. Krug, who has three assists, seven shots and four blocks in three outings this postseason, hasn’t played since May 6 due to a lower-body injury.
Avalanche vs. Blues Game 6 Betting Prediction
The Blues have won 18 of their last 26 games, are 12-5 in their last 17 games coming off a win and are 28-11 in their last 39 conference games. They’re also 17-8 in their last 25 games versus Central Division opponents and have won 36 of their last 53 games after scoring five goals or more in their previous game. After they stole Game 5 in Colorado, the Blues are confident and playing with house money. I don’t know if they pull off the series win, but I do believe they’ll force a Game 7.
