Colorado Avalanche DFS Spin
Darcy Kuemper drew some criticism from his coach after Monday’s 6-2 loss to Tampa Bay. Kuemper allowed five goals on 22 shots before being yanked halfway through the game. “I didn’t think he had a good night,” Avalanche coach Jared Bednar said of Kuemper. He did add though, “Neither did our team so you win as a team and lose as a team and I group him in with everybody else.” Kuemper has been something of a mixed bag in the 2022 playoffs. He does have an 8-3 record, but his 2.76 GAA and .892 save percentage in 13 starts certainly aren’t great. The Avalanche do have a viable alternative in Pavel Francouz, but it seems premature to start him. Kuemper posted a 16-save shutout in Game 2 and the Avalanche are still leading the series 2-1, so he’ll probably start again on Wednesday.
Tampa Bay Lightning DFS Spin
Lightning coach Jon Cooper believes that Nikita Kucherov (lower body) will be available for Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final on Wednesday. That has to come as a huge relief to Lightning fans after Kucherov left Monday’s contest. He sustained what appeared to be a leg injury when he was knocked to the ice awkwardly by Avalanche defender Devon Toews. Kucherov has seven goals and 26 points in 20 playoff contests this year.
Avalanche vs. Lightning Game 4 Betting Prediction
The home team is now 4-0 in the last four meetings between these two teams. The Lightning are also 8-2 in their last 10 games following a win, are 6-2 in their last eight games versus Central Division opponents and are 11-4 in their last 15 games overall. The Bolts are also 41-15 in their last 56 home games, are 7-3 in their last 10 games versus Western Conference opponents and are 38-15 in their last 53 games after allowing two goals or less in their previous game.
