The two teams will square off on February 20 in Minnesota, which has the highest number of registered USA Hockey members at 55,450 according to Yahoo Sports.

As with most Stadium Series and Winter Classic events, the weekend will also consist of an alumni game. Jeremy Roenick and Ed Belfour are scheduled to play for the Blackhawks, while Andrew Brunette, Wes Walz and Neal Broten will play for the Wild. (Broten played for the old North Stars.)

“I’m looking forward to the alumni game as much as I’m looking forward to the regular season game – almost as much,” Minnesota own Craig Leipold said. “This is an unbelievable day for us. We’ve worked really, really hard the last 7-8 years to get an outdoor game for our market and our fans.”

According to oddsmakers from online sports book GT Bets, the Blackhawks are 13/2 favorites to repeat as Stanley Cup champions in 2016. As for their opponent on February 20, the Wild are 13/1 to win next year’s Cup.
