Colorado Avalanche DFS Spin
Nathan MacKinnon has been fined $5,000 for unsportsmanlike conduct on Arizona’s Conor Garland. MacKinnon and Garland were involved in a bit of wrestling match late in the third period of Colorado’s 9-3 win over the Coyotes on Wednesday night. MacKinnon picked up Garland’s helmet and tossed it at him, which resulted in the maximum allowable fine under the terms of the CBA. He also picked up 14 penalty minutes on the play and finished the match with two assists.
