Blues vs. Avalanche Game 5 Prediction
Can the Blues stave off elimination with a win in Game 5 of their Western Conference Semifinals matchup with the Avalanche at 8:00 p.m. ET on Wednesday night? Or will Colorado eliminate St. Louis with another beating tonight?

St. Louis Blues DFS Spin
Ville Husso gave up five goals on 36 shots in a 6-3 loss to Colorado Monday. Husso was sensational in the opening period when he stopped all 15 shots as the Blues led 1-0 despite being outshot 15-3. But things fell apart in the second when Colorado scored four times including three in 102 seconds. Husso is 1-4 having lost his last four after a Game 1 shutout win in the opening round against Minnesota. He has given up 18 goals on 118 shots in the last four games and will need to be a lot better if the Blues hope to extend the series against Colorado in Game 5 Wednesday in Denver.
Colorado Avalanche DFS Spin
Nazem Kadri had his first career playoff hat trick as he led the Colorado Avalanche to a 6-3 win over the St. Louis Blues in Game 4 of the best-of-seven series. The win gives the Avs a commanding 3-1 series lead. Kadri, who was the subject of threats and racial taunts after Game 3 when he and St. Louis defenseman Calle Rosen collided with goaltender Jordan Binnington, ending his participation in the series, was all over the ice, leading the Avs to the win. Kadri has five goals and 10 points in just eight games as he assisted on Mikko Rantanen’s empty net goal. He continues to have the best season in his NHL career.
Blues vs. Avalanche Game 5 Betting Prediction
Even though the road team is now 7-2 in the last eight meetings between these two teams, the Blues looked cooked. They allowed Kadri to move into their heads rent free when he took out Jordan Binnington in Game 3 and Game 4 was an embarrassment for the Blues, as the Aves’ forward posted a hat trick on St. Louis’ home ice. Now the Blues, down 3-1 in this series and playing with an unconfident Husso, are going to steal one in Colorado? I don’t think so.
