St. Louis Blues DFS SPIN
Robert Thomas signed an eight-year, $65 million contract extension with the Blues on Wednesday. Thomas broke out in a big way in 2021-22, setting career highs in goals (20), assists (57), plus-minus rating (plus-17), shots (115), power-play points (14) and average ice time (18:47) through 72 regular-season appearances. At just 23 years old, Thomas is just about to enter his prime, and assuming last season wasn’t a flash in the pan, he should remain a high-end fantasy asset for most, if not all of his new contract.
Seattle Kraken DFS SPIN
Andre Burakovsky scored a power-play goal, recorded two hits and added two PIM in Monday’s 5-1 loss to the Hurricanes. Burakovsky’s goal was the extent of the Kraken’s offense in a lopsided loss. The 27-year-old reached the 300-point mark in his career with the tally — he’s scored 125 times and added 175 assists in 523 contests over parts of nine seasons. The winger has two goals, three assists, 10 shots on net, a minus-3 rating and four power-play points through four contests this year.
