St. Louis Blues DFS SPIN
Jordan Binnington made 22 saves in a 5-4 loss to Montreal on Saturday. The game was certainly a skater’s contest and not a goalie duel. Every time the Blues got a lead, the Canadiens knotted it back up and then Josh Anderson scored midway through the third to push it to 5-4. With the win, the Habs snapped a seven-game winless streak. Binnington had been 3-1-0 in his past four games, but needs to be better. Overall, he has allowed 18 goals in his last five, including 17 in his last four.
Minnesota Wild DFS SPIN
Ryan Hartman had a goal and an assist in a 6-5 overtime loss to the Sabres on Saturday. His goal showed off his sweet mitts. Late in the second period, Hartman made a mid-air deflection of a cross-ice pass from Frederick Gaudreau at the side of the net. The winger is heating up with a three-game, five-point streak that includes three goals, and now sits with five goals and seven assists in 17 games this season.

Blues vs. Wild NHL BETTING PREDICTION
As you can see from the trends above, the Blues have had plenty of success against the Wild in previous meetings but with Ryan O’Reilly, Tory Krug and Vladimir Tarasenko all out, St. Louis is too big of a gamble as a road underdog tonight in Minnesota. Instead, I’m going to take the over, which is 6-1 in the last seven meetings between these two teams at Xcel Energy Center and 11-4 in the last 15 Blues-Wild meetings overall. With Binnington having played last night in Montreal, Thomas Greiss is likely to start in net tonight for the Blues, meaning the Wild should have plenty of scoring opportunities. Despite the injuries, St. Louis has also been scoring in bunches as well, so I like these two teams to get over the 6.5-goal total.
NHL BETTING PREDICTION: BLUES/WILD OVER 6.5
