David Pastrnak picked up an assist in his seasonal debut Saturday. Pastrnak missed the first two weeks of the season after undergoing off-season right hip arthroscopy as well as surgery to repair a torn labral in mid-September. He was scheduled to return in mid-February but was able to come back a couple of weeks early. He had five shots on goal and is a must-start in your fantasy pool. Get him in the lineup ASAP.
Washington Capitals DFS Spin
Alex Ovechkin scored the game-winning goal in overtime Saturday against the Boston Bruins. Ovie was making his first appearance since Jan. 14 after spending time on the COVID list, and he was originally listed as a game-time decision for this one. The goal was just his second of the season, with assists to John Carlson and Nicklas Backstrom, just 28 seconds into overtime. The Russian superstar always has a flare for the dramatic. That’s two goals and six points through five games. He’ll try to make up for lost time when the teams reconvene on Monday night in the second end of the doubleheader.
