He is a must-start.

James van Riemsdyk registered four assists in Sunday’s 4-3 overtime win against the New York Islanders. Van Riemsdyk posted primary helper on each of Joel Farabee’s goals in his first-career hatty. He was also credited with an assist on Kevin Hayes’ game winner in overtime. JVR ended up with a plus-3 rating, a blocked shot and a hit in 13:59 of ice time across 17 shifts. Don’t look now, but the 31-year-old old from Middletown, N.J. is on a roll, posting two goals with eight points and a plus-3 rating during his current four-game point streak. Van Riemsdyk will look to keep the point streak rolling Wednesday night against the Boston Bruins at 8 p.m. ET on NBCSN.
