Boston Bruins DFS Spin
Patrice Bergeron, who doesn’t have a contract beyond this season, declined to say if this would be his last playoff run. “I’ve done a good job of staying in the moment and I think that’s where I’m at still…being ready for Game 1 of the playoffs and that’s all I should focus on,” said Bergeron. Although he’ll turn 37-years-old in July, he’s still playing at a high level and there’s no doubt that the Bruins would be happy to re-sign him if he’s interested in continuing his career. We probably won’t hear anything on the contract front though until after the playoffs.
Carolina Hurricanes DFS Spin
Boston coach Bruce Cassidy noted that the team is “expecting” to see Antti Raanta play for Carolina in Game 1 on Monday night. Raanta is the projected starter for the Hurricanes after coach Rod Brind’Amour ruled out Frederik Andersen for Game 1. Cassidy added that the team has prepped for Pyotr Kochetkov as well should he get the nod instead of Raanta.

The Hurricanes, meanwhile, are just 1-4 in their last five Conference Quarterfinals games.
