NHL Betting Trends
Calgary
The Flames are 4-1 in their last five games versus the Western Conference. Calgary is 6-2 in its last eight Friday games.
Edmonton
The Oilers are 2-6 in their last eight games as an underdog. Edmonton is 2-7 in its last nine games overall.
Prediction:
The Flames were turning a corner for a while, although it had a couple recent setbacks. With much of the roster the same as last year, I still expect Calgary to make a charge forward in the second half of the season. Edmonton hasn’t been able to put up consistent performances all season and I trust the Flames a little more here, especially after having three off days to rest and prepare for a road game. Go with the slight favorites here.
