Myers eligible to return to Canucks

Tyler Myers can return to the lineup against St. Louis on Monday after serving his three-game suspension for cross-checking Edmonton’s Evan Bouchard on Jan. 18. Myers has generated two goals, 13 points, 45 shots on net, 83 blocked shots, 54 hits and 54 PIM across 45 appearances this season. Myers could replace Elias Pettersson in Monday’s lineup after the latter made his NHL debut in Saturday’s 2-1 win over Washington.

Binnington takes tough loss vs. Stars

Jordan Binnington made 17 saves in Saturday’s 2-0 loss to the Stars. While he wasn’t overly busy, Binnington had to deal with a number of good scoring chances by Dallas, and he made only one real mistake. Midway through the first period, Evgenii Dadonov got behind the St. Louis defense after a seeing-eye redirected pass from Jason Robertson, and Binninton’s stick slipped out of his hand on a poke-check attempt, giving Dadonov time and room to jam the puck under the goalie’s pad. Binnington has had an up-and-down January, going 3-4-0 in seven starts with a 2.62 GAA and .904 save percentage.

Canucks vs. Blues Betting Prediction

As previously mentioned, the Blues have owned the Canucks. St. Louis has won three straight meetings with Vancouver and eight out the last 10 games between these squads. While they have lost back-to-back games entering play tonight, the Canucks have dropped four out of their last six. This is a good price on a team that has had a lot of success against their opponent.

Canucks vs. Blues Prediction: ST. LOUIS BLUES -120
