Washington Capitals DFS Spin
Ilya Samsonov stopped 19 shots in a 3-2 win over New Jersey on Sunday. Samsonov made his first start for the Capitals since Jan. 17 in the contest. He had been working his way back from COVID-19, while making some appearances in the minors and working on the taxi squad, but he was finally back on the active roster on Sunday. There was some rust, which is to be expected, but it’s good to see him back in goal for Washington. He has a 2-0-1 record this season with a 2.92 GAA and .878 save percentage.
Boston Bruins DFS Spin
Tuukka Rask stopped 20 shots in a 4-1 win against the New York Rangers on Sunday afternoon. Rask had a shutout going until the 10:47 mark of the third period when Colin Blackwell was allowed to walk in and get the Rangers on the board. Still, this was a strong bounce-back performance for the Bruins netminder after he was burned for six goals on 34 shots by the Rangers on Friday. Rask is up to eight victories in 12 starts this year.
Capitals vs. Bruins NHL Prediction
