Blackhawks vs. Canucks Prediction
The Blackhawks ended a two-game losing skid with a win against the Flames on Sunday. Now they’ll look to earn back-to-back wins for the first time in nearly a month when they visit the Canucks at 8:00PM ET.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, Patrick Kane and the Blackhawks are -175 money line favorites over the Canucks, who have odds of +155 to pull off the upset at home. As for the total, the number currently sits at 5 goals.

A fatigued Scott Darling saved 31 of 32 shots in Chicago’s 4-1 victory over Calgary on Saturday night. Darling has been filling in for the injured Corey Crawford and if he gets the night off, Michael Leighton will make the start. (Darling is listed as the starter as of this writing.)

Regardless of who is between the pipes for the Hawks, the Canucks have put their effort on cruise control of late. Jacob Markstrom allowed four goals on 37 shots last Friday in a 4-0 loss to the Blues. While Ryan Miller will be back in net tonight, nobody in Vancouver’s lineup is scoring right now as the team has just two goals in its last five games. The Canucks have been shutout four times during that span.
Perhaps the Canucks will get up one last time for the defending champs coming to town, but I wouldn’t bet on it. Vancouver is 0-4 in its last four games playing on one day of rest and is just 2-8 in its last 10 contests playing the fourth game of a 4-in-6 situation.
