Jacob Markstrom was pulled after two periods of play, giving up four goals on 34 shots. The Oilers were all over the Flames from the get-go and Markstrom was outstanding in keeping the Flames in the contest as he stopped all 21 shots in the opening period and six of the first seven in the second. Unfortunately, he gave up goals to Evander Kane on the next three shots in six minutes in the second and was sent to the bench for the third, replaced by Dan Vladar who stopped all seven Edmonton shots in the third. Markstrom is 5-5 with a 2.65 GAA and a .912 save percentage. Look for Markstrom to be back in net Tuesday for Game 4.
