Lehner stopped all of the 34 shots he faced in order to help his team defeat a tough opponent in the Capitals. This was a significant game for the 30-year-old netminder because in his previous three starts he failed to crack a .900 save percentage. This game also marked Lehner’s first shutout of the season. His record now improves to 17-11-1.
Carolina Hurricanes DFS Spin
Teuvo Teravainen (lower body) was on the ice for Monday’s practice. Teravainen didn’t play on Saturday against New Jersey despite taking part in the pregame warmups. He suffered a lower-body injury last Friday versus the New York Rangers. Teravainen was back alongside Sebastian Aho and Seth Jarvis on Monday. He could be available to play on Tuesday against Vegas, but that hasn’t been determined yet.
