Vegas Golden Knights Fantasy Spin
Marc-Andre Fleury allowed three goals on 17 shots in Tuesday’s 4-2 road loss against the Tampa Bay Lightning. Fleury slipped to 20-13-4 with a 2.79 goals-against average and .907 save percentage across his 38 appearances. The All-Star has managed just two wins in the past eight starts dating back to Jan. 4. He is in a bit of a tailspin, but he remains a must-start fantasy option through thick and thin. The Golden Knights are back at it Thursday in Sunrise against the Panthers.
Florida Panthers Fantasy Spin
Sergei Bobrovsky allowed just one goal on 45 shots in Tuesday’s 1-0 overtime loss against the Columbus Blue Jackets, his former team. Bob was making just his second return to his old stomping grounds, and he played well. However, Elvis Merzlikins was able to do him just one better, stopping all 32 shots he faced for the shutout. Former teammate Zach Werenski beat Bobrovsky with the overtime winner on an unassisted goal to make the difference. Still, it was an encouraging showing for Bobrovsky, who slips to 20-13-5, but actually improved his goals-against average from 3.25 to 3.19 while his save percentage went up from .898 to .901.
