The second Wild scored, which was scored by Jonas Brodin, came when Fleury was pulled for an extra attacker. The loss puts an end to Fleury’s personal five-game winning streak and the Golden Knights’ six-game streak. The 36-year-old has 12-4-0 record with a 1.57 goals-against-average and a .943 save percentage this season.

Kaapo Kahkonen stopped all 26 shots he faced during Monday’s 2-0 win over the Vegas Golden Knights. Kahkonen is still only 24 years old, but he’s already so calm in his net. He has the ability to make difficult saves look routine at times, which is pretty impressive. This was the first shutout of Kahkonen’s career and he became just the fourth goaltender in franchise history to record a clean sheet as a rookie. He’s won seven games in a row and he now owns a 10-4-0 record in 2021. He’ll head into his next appearance with a 2.13 goals-against-average and a .924 save percentage. He looks like the real deal. Kahkonen should be picked up in most standard and dynasty leagues.
