New York Islanders DFS Spin
Ilya Sorokin allowed two goals on 26 shots in Sunday’s 3-2 overtime win against the New York Rangers. Sorokin saw newcomer Kyle Palmieri score on the power play less than two minutes into the game for the early lead, and Jean-Gabriel Pageau tacked on another for a 2-0 lead. Sorokin ran into trouble in the second, giving up goals to Libor Hajek and Brendan Smith less than two minutes apart in the middle of the period, but he settled down and didn’t give up anything the rest of the way.
Boston Bruins DFS Spin
Coach Bruce Cassidy expects Tuukka Rask (upper body) to start Thursday’s game against the New York Islanders. Rask was on the ice again for Wednesday’s practice and he is poised to return to the lineup on Thursday. He hasn’t played since March 25 because of an upper-body injury.
