The Lightning wiped the floor with the Islanders in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals but will things change in Game 2 tonight at 8:00 p.m. ET? Tampa Bay is once again listed as a heavy favorite, while the over/under is 5.5.

New York Islanders DFS Spin
Thomas Greiss was pulled in Monday’s 8-2 loss to Tampa in Game 1 of of the Eastern Conference Final. This clearly wasn’t the start Greiss and the Islanders were looking for. They gave up the first goal to Brayden Point less than 1:30 into the game. Jordan Eberle tied the game just over three minutes later, but the Lightning exploded after that. Greiss was given the hook after he allowed three goals on nine shots just over 10 minutes into the game. Semyon Varlamov, who entered the game in relief of Greiss, allowed five more goals on 25 shots. The Isles have an interesting decision to make in goal ahead of Game 2.
Tampa Bay Lightning DFS Spin
Kevin Shattenkirk had a big night on Monday with three assists in the Lightning’s 8-2 shellacking over the Islanders. It was quite a Game 1 for Shattenkirk and the Lightning and the three helpers give Shattenkirk five points in his last two games. After going pointless in his first six post-season games, Shattenkirk has been a scoring machine since with a goal and seven assists in his last eight games.
Islanders vs. Lightning Game 2 Betting Prediction
The New York Post had a stat after Game 1 that said the Lightning missed the net only once on Monday night. That’s incredible and it showcases the total domination Tampa Bay exhibited in Game 1. The Islanders should respond with a better defensive performance tonight but will it matter? This is the Lightning team that we all expected to see a year ago when they were shockingly eliminated from the postseason in the first round of the playoffs. The speed, the execution and the relentlessness in the offensive zone is all on display for Tampa Bay this season and I doubt New York will counter those attributes tonight. I like the Lightning to roll again in Game 2 and love the value that the puckline offers us in catching +155 by laying the 1.5.
