Jets vs. Canadiens Prediction

There’s only one game in the NHL and it’ll take place in Montreal when the Canadiens host the Jets at 7:00 p.m. ET. The over has been profitable in previous meetings between these two teams but is 6.5 big of a number to cash tonight?

Mark Scheifele suffered an upper-body injury Sunday and will not be in the Winnipeg lineup Monday when they face the Montreal Canadiens. Coach Dave Lowry made the announcement after Sunday’s game. Scheifele took a hit from Parker Kelly late in the second period and he did not return to action. Scheifele has 29 goals and 70 points in 67 games this season. Reports are it could be his left shoulder. Scheifele will be re-examined when the Jets return home after Monday night’s tilt. Consider him day-to-day.

Montreal Canadiens DFS Spin

Carey Price (knee) will decide when he is ready to return to the lineup, according to coach Martin St-Louis. The Canadiens interim bench boss said Friday that the team is taking things “day-by-day” with Price, who resumed practicing with the Canadiens on Monday. He had knee surgery last July and appears to be getting close to making his season debut.
