Blue Jackets vs. Penguins Blue Jackets vs. Penguins

The Penguins are playing good hockey over their last 10 games, posting a 6-3-1 record over that span. The Kings, however, have been even better of their last 10 contests. What’s the best side in Tuesday night’s Kings vs. Penguins matchup in Pittsburgh?

Kings vs. Penguins Public Betting: Bettors Backing Underdog

As of this writing, our NHL Public Betting Page shows that 59% of bets are on the Penguins’ moneyline. That said, this page is updated frequently so make sure that you click on the link provided to get the most up-to-date public betting information.

Kuemper excellent in Saturday’s victory

Darcy Kuemper stopped 31 shots in a 5-1 win over the Rangers on Saturday. Kuemper has won three straight games since returning to the lineup from injury while allowing only one goal each time. He improves to 7-2-3 with a 2.27 GAA and a .916 save percentage through 13 appearances this campaign.

Jarry stops 28 of 31 shots in overtime win

Tristan Jarry stopped 28 of 31 shots in Saturday’s 3-2 overtime loss to the Senators. Jarry has started Pittsburgh’s last four games, going 2-1-1 with a 2.99 GAA and an .888 save percentage in that span. His play has been mostly solid in that stretch, outside of a wobble against the Avalanche on Dec. 10, when he gave up five goals on 26 shots. Jarry owns a 3.18 GAA in five December appearances.

Kings vs. Penguins Betting Prediction

Take L.A. The Kings are a top-10 team playing some of its best hockey of the season. They’ve won eight of their last 10 games, producing a 31.62% return on investment over that span. They’re also 4-1 in their last five games overall, generating an ROI of 49.59%.

While the Penguins are 6-3-1 in their last 10 games, they still own a -24 goal differential on the season. While they have certainly played well of late, I’d rather take the Vikings at a relatively cheap price.

Kings vs. Penguins Prediction: Los Angeles Kings -140
