Rittich Loses to Blues in OT

David Rittich made 28 saves in Sunday’s 4-3 overtime loss to St. Louis. After a scoreless third period, Rittich was beaten glove-side by Brayden Schenn on a rush a little over a minute into OT. It’s the first time since his mid-December return to the NHL that the 31-year-old netminder has given up more than three goals in a game, and in 10 outings with the Kings, Rittich has a 4-1-3 record with a 2.09 GAA and .920 save percentage.

Roman Josi picked up a pair of assists in Monday’s 4-3 loss to the Senators. Josi set up two of the Preds’ three goals in the first period, helping out Michael McCarron for the opening tally off a dump-in before adding a secondary assist on Yakov Trenin’s goal later in the frame. The 33-year-old Josi has been averaging over a point per game over the last month, notching three goals and 13 assists in his past 14 contests. Overall, the four-time All-Star is up to 44 points (10 goals, 34 assists) through 50 appearances this season.
