Tampa Bay Lightning DFS SPIN
Steven Stamkos scored two goals Tuesday, but the Flyers rallied to a 3-2 victory over the Lightning. Stamkos, who scored a goal in each of the Lightning’s first four games, became just the second skater to accomplish the feat in franchise history. By the 4:12 mark of the second period, the 32-year-old center produced two power-play goals, but he was shut down the rest of the way. Of Stamkos’ six goals this season, four have come off one-timers. He added five shots on goal and two hits Tuesday.
Florida Panthers DFS SPIN
Matthew Tkachuk notched one goal and one power-play assist in Florida’s 4-3 win over Buffalo on Saturday. Tkachuk has two goals and three points through two games with the Panthers. He was acquired from Calgary in an offseason trade that sent Jonathan Huberdeau and MacKenzie Weegar to the Flames. Tkachuk has been skating alongside Sam Bennett and Rudolfs Balcers at even strength this year. He has also been seeing time on the top power-play unit, which grants him valuable exposure to Aleksander Barkov.
