Steven Stamkos thinks that his positive test for COVID-19 was a false positive. Stamkos took the rapid test and while he was placed on the protocol list, he hopes that his next test will be negative. Stamkos missed Thursday’s game with a lower-body injury but he did say he could have played if it was a playoff game. Stamkos has 14 points this season and is a must-start when healthy.

Sergei Bobrovsky stopped 19 of 21 shots in Thursday’s 5-2 win over the Tampa Bay Lightning. Bobrovsky turned away all 16 shots he faced at even-strength, but he allowed two power-play goals to Brayden Point off the rush. The 32-year-old’s individual numbers don’t stand out, but he still hasn’t dropped a game in regulation yet. He owns a 5-0-1 record with a 2.90 goals-against-average and a .899 save percentage in 2021. If the Panthers can stay this hot, their starting goaltender will continue to be a huge fantasy asset.
Lightning vs. Panthers Prediction
The over is 40-18 in the last 58 meetings between these two teams and 6-1 in the last seven meetings in Sunrise. The over is also 5-2 in the Lightning’s last seven games overall, is 6-1 in their last seven games playing on one day of rest and is 5-2 in their last seven games as a favorite. On the other side, the over is 9-3-2 in the Panthers’ last 14 games as a home underdog, is 9-3 in their last 12 games when their opponent allows five goals or more in its previous game and is 41-20-4 in their last 65 games after scoring five goals or more in its previous game.
