Tampa Bay Lightning DFS Spin
Nikita Kucherov scored a goal and registered an assist in the Lightning’s 4-1 win over Florida in Game 1 Tuesday night. Kucherov has excelled in the postseason with three goals and 10 points in eight contests this year. He’s now tied with Phil Esposito for 37th place on the all-time playoff scoring list with 137 career points. Pierre-Edouard Bellemare and Ross Colton accounted for the Lightning’s other two goals.
Florida Panthers DFS Spin
The Florida Panthers are still searching for their first power-play goal of the 2022 playoffs. The Panthers were 0-for-3 with the advantage on Tuesday, putting them at 0-for-21 over the course of the 2022 playoffs. Of the teams that made the playoffs this year, Florida is the only team still searching for a power play goal. That’s in stark contrast to the regular season where the Panthers tied for fifth place with their 24.4% power-play success rate. Florida managed to get past Washington in the first round in spite of their power play struggles, but it’s hard to imagine them eliminating Tampa Bay too without at least some success with the man advantage.
Lightning vs. Panthers Game 2 Betting Prediction
The Lightning have won four of their last five games overall, are 12-3 in their last 15 playoff games as an underdog and are an impressive 25-5 in their last 30 Conference Semifinals games. Tampa is also 4-1 in its last five games when facing a team with a winning record, is 120-56 in its last 176 games versus Eastern Conference foes and is 190-89 in its last 279 games when playing on one day of rest.
