NHL Betting Trends
New Jersey
The Devils are 20-44 in their last 64 games as an underdog. New Jersey is 8-18 in its last 26 games against the Eastern Conference.
Montreal
The Canadiens are 7-2 in their last nine games played on one day of rest. Montreal is 2-6 in its last eight Thursday games.
Prediction:
This contest seems like a good formula for Montreal to get back on track. Price does not have many awful nights like he did two days ago and I expect he will bounce back strong here. The Devils are not exactly as proficient up front as Boston is. The Devils have been vulnerable in the back end and often struggle to produce a lot of offense. I don’t see them putting it all together tonight.
