Prediction
One would assume that all four of these teams want to put on a show tonight at Enterprise Center and while the goaltending should be solid as well, I’m leaning towards backing the offense. Granted, the goaltending is solid on both sides as well, but I’m leaning towards the offense in the first matchup. Yes, the a total of 12 is astronomical but given the loose nature of All-Star games in any sport, I side with offense over anything.
That said, I only like the over in the first matchup tonight (Metropolitan vs. Atlantic). In the second matchup (Pacific vs. Central), I like the Central Division. The reason for that is because the Stanley Cup champion Blues will play for the Central and I’m assuming Jordan Binnington, David Perron, Ryan O’Reilly and Alex Pietrangelo will play well in front of their home crowd in St. Louis.
2020 NHL All Star Game Selection: Metropolitan vs. Atlantic OVER 12 (-120)
