Minnesota State center Tyler Pitlick was the first pick of the second round Saturday by the Edmonton Oilers, who took Taylor Hall with the No. 1 overall selection on Friday night.
The final pick was Zach Trotman, a Lake Superior State defenseman taken 210th by the Boston Bruins.
The draft included 99 Canadians and 59 American prospects, according to the NHL.
Despite the usual trade speculation, the biggest deal was completed Friday when Vancouver acquired defenseman Keith Ballard from Florida.
Pittsburgh acquired defenseman Dan Hamhuis’ rights, but GM Ray Shero doesn’t know whether he can sign the veteran before free agency begins on July 1.
