Sunday NHL Opening Lines

Highlighting Sunday’s NHL games is a battle between the host Chicago Blackhawks and the Philadelphia Flyers at 12:30PM EST, who will be meeting for the first time since Chicago downed Philadelphia in six games to win the Stanley Cup Finals last June.
Oddsmakers and online sports book Sportsbook.com have made Chicago a -125 favorite and the over-under is listed at 5.5.
Chicago is riding a high after defeating rival Detroit 4-1 on the road Saturday, its second victory in a row. The Flyers, meanwhile, were defeated by the New Jersey Devils 4-1 on their home ice Saturday. The Blackhawks are 16-11-0 at home this season, while Philadelphia is one of the best road teams in the NHL at 16-5-3.
According to the latest trends, Chicago is 5-3 against the spread versus Philadelphia over the past three seasons. The Blackhawks have an overall record of 26-18-4, while the Flyers lead the Eastern Conference with a record of 31-12-5.
Mike Richards leads Philadelphia with 17 goals and 28 assists, while Danny Briere is just behind with 25 goals and 18 assists. Chicago’s Patrick Sharp has 25 goals and 20 assists, while teammate Jonathan Toews has tallied 17 goals and 21 assists.
Elsewhere, the New Jersey Devils are a -135 moneyline favorite with an over-under of 5 at home versus the Florida Panthers at 3:00PM EST. The Buffalo Sabres are at the New York Islanders at 3:00PM EST. Buffalo is a -140 favorite and the over-under is 5.5.
