Monday NHL Playoffs Free Pick
(The Spread) – After the Boston Bruins took Game 1 of the series, the Philadelphia Flyers look to even things up tonight at 7:30PM ET.
Oddsmakers from online sports book SBGGLOBAL.com have made the Flyers –137 money line favorites on Tuesday night against the visiting Bruins, who are +126 on the ML. The over/under total for this game is currently 5.5 goals.
The Bruins crushed the Flyers in the series opener between these two teams. David Krejici and Brad Marchand each had two goals apiece, while Krejci notched four points to lead Boston. Goaltender Tim Thomas saved 31 of the 34 shots he faced in Game 1, and is now 5-3 in the playoffs.
For the Flyers, Brian Boucher struggled while saving just 18 of the 23 shots he faced. Sergei Bobrovsky also allowed two goals on 10 shots, while the offense came from Mike Richards, James Van Riemsdyk and Daniel Briere.
NHL Playoffs Free Pick: One would think that the Flyers would win at least one of the two games in Philadelphia to start this series, but the value remains in the Bruins. According to latest NHL trends, the Bruins are 4-1 in their last five games against the Flyers and 9-3 in their last 12 trips to Philadelphia. Meanwhile, the underdog is 5-1 in the last six meetings between these two teams and the road team is 5-1 in the last six games as well. Boucher should play much better tonight than in Game 1, but again – the value lies in Boston. Take the Bruins at a great price.
MONDAY NHL PLAYOFFS FREE PICK: BOSTON BRUINS +126
