LINE MOVEMENT
Anaheim opened as a -170 favorite on the moneyline before it tightened somewhat. The total has remained at 5.5 goals. The Ducks are between a -153 and a -160 favorite at various sportsbooks. New Jersey is between a +140 to +143 underdog, while the total is 5.5 everywhere.
PUBLIC BETTING
As of Sunday afternoon, 65 percent of public bets have come in on the Ducks. Online wager info also shows that 62 percent of bets are on the under.
INJURY TO WATCH
New Jersey center Pavel Zacha (upper body) and left winger Patrick Maroon (lower body) are both questionable tonight. Left winger Marcus Johansson (brain injury) is out indefinitely. For Anaheim, defenseman Kevin Bieksa (hand) is out until late April. Right winger Patrick Eaves (illness) is out indefinitely.
BETTING STRATEGY
The over hit in the earlier meeting between these two teams this season as the Devils won 5-3 on their home ice back in December. While the under is 35-34 in New Jersey games this season, low-scoring games have dominated this season for Anaheim as the under is 43-28. The Devils had an eight-goal explosion in a win at Las Vegas two games ago, but aside from that they have scored more than three goals only one other time in their last 10 games and the under has hit eight times. The Ducks have been solid offensively lately, but also strong on defense. Look for both teams to be good in their back end here and keep the score low.
