LINE MOVEMENT

Los Angeles opened as a -200 favorite before the line grew wider, while the total has remained at 5.5 goals. The Kings range from a -230 favorite all the way to -250, while the Flames are between a +195 and +210 underdog.

PUBLIC BETTING

As of Monday afternoon, 86 percent of public bets are pouring in on the Kings. Online wager info also shows that 53 percent of bets are siding with the under.

INJURY TO WATCH

Calgary left winger Johnny Gaudreau (personal), Matthew Tkachuk (upper body) and defenseman TJ Brodie (upper body) are all questionable to play tonight. Center Sean Monahan (wrist) and right winger Kris Versteeg (hip) are both out for the season. Left winger Marek Hrivik (undisclosed) is out indefinitely.

BETTING STRATEGY

Calgary has allowed a lot of goals during its five-game losing streak, but has scored a total of three goals in the last four games combined. Los Angeles hasn’t surrendered more than three goals in any of its last six contests and if it gets a lead, usually does a fantastic job of sitting on it. Take the under here as the juice on LA is too much to stomach. If you want to be a daredevil, take a shot on the Flames but go into it knowing full well a loss is the more likely outcome.
